Lita’s work is inspired by her love of the countryside and the atmosphere of city landscapes. She attended art college to do a foundation course when she left school, but is largely self taught (and still learning she says) in painting techniques.
Lita works with oil, acrylic and mixed media to produce atmospheric paintings. She says that "a visual scene must 'move' me in some way; it is a right hemisphere thing and I find it hard to put it into words".
