Donna paints intuitively in an expressionist style using a variety of art media from acrylic, oil bars, pastel, ink and elements of collage. Colour and light are her muse. She creates work depicting abstractions of places and experiences that she carries deep within her psyche. Donna translates her experience of these places into her paintings layering colour and materials until the finished piece announces its arrival.

Through my work I aim to capture the feeling of being in another world. The otherworldly beauty of the powerful, magical sea. Ocean conservation is very important to me and through my latest piece titled 'Single Use Planet' I explore the responsibility we as humans have in protecting this precious part of our planet.
Louise creates oil paintings inspired by nature. She combines naturalism with expressive colour to create something beautiful, quirky and a joy to look at. Louise's expressive oil paintings on natural linen demonstrate her ability to explore nature's tensions - the animal is still but it could go at any second. She captures a moment in nature for a lifetime on canvas.
Award winning, international artist Michelle Lucking uses her fingers to paint with soft pastel and capture stunning seascapes and underwater swimming scenes. Her work beautifully translates light and movement onto medium and large scale paintings, making the viewer feel like they are immersed in the water.
Surreal imaginative drawings exploring ecology, biology and nature.
This planet is home to a wonderful variety of living organisms that are each individual in their biology and behaviour. They form large webs of connections amongst one another in ecosystems that are vast and complex. From whale migrations that encompass the entire globe, to ants that scurry along the forest floor. We are all witness to the beauty of life on Earth. Earth, the tiny little planet that we inhabit somewhere in the unfathomable depths of the universe. The drawings are made using pen and ink and fine liner pens. The animals are imagined as living planets or landmasses, with their own landscapes and ecosystems.
My sculptures are conceived as 'seen' by me, as shapes, textures and colours and the arrangements of these elements in a three-dimensional form. they are inspired by my African origin, personal journeys, observations of daily life and the colours and textures of nature. When growing up I would sit for hours staring at cracks in the walls and forming images. These things bring up thoughts and experiences that challenge and guide me through my creative processes.
Raised in Bournemouth and moving to Brighton, I relish living at the edge of the land. Being a swimwear print designer I find exuberant palettes, tropical flora, palms and the sea appear often in my semi abstract work. I love to explore the qualities of acrylic paints with my mixed media pieces.
