SEE WHO’S EXHIBITING AT CONTEMPORARY ART FAIRS
I am an artist who knew from the beginning that a cauldron of creative dynamism existed within. After pursuing careers in Banking and Consultancy, I eventually found my true passion and discovered fluid painting, using liquid inks, acrylics and water colours. I create contemporary abstract art, exploring movement and light.
Mixed media drawings and paintings characterised by their textured surfaces.
Cartmill exhibits widely and has work in numerous public and private collections, including Reading Museum. Recent shows include The RA Summer Exhibition, The London Original Print Fair and The Royal West of England Academy.
I have been producing my recent work on genuine disused signs, giving something rusty, aged and even bullet ridden a new life. A used sign to me is a unique canvas, sometimes with 20 years of wear, tear and imperfections, each one telling a story of its own ... I love how no two can ever be the same.
I am a London-based contemporary, mixed media, abstract artist. I create bold, dynamic, multi-layered and richly textured, paintings. These are mostly on cradled wooden panels. Some on paper. I am inspired by anything! Big skies, bustling cities, music, the sea, amazing colours of India and Morocco. I try to capture an emotive response to these wondrous things and more through my painting.
Wendy is an award winning plein air artist inspired by nature and the world around her. She uses a variety of mediums including traditional egg tempera to create works full of energy, movement and atmosphere. She has work in both private and public collections including the Queen's private art collection.
Wendy's art can take days or weeks to complete, using layer after layer of resin within this creative process to create great depth within each piece and can incorporate various crystals and gemstones which have different properties and are believed to promote a sense of balance, positivity, wellness and healing.
Zoe's emotive paintings capture the energy and intrigue of the natural world. Working intuitively and from memories, expressive brushstrokes and marks create a rich tapestry of textures, depth and soul; igniting the imagination and continuing to intrigue, surprise and delight the viewer, creating truly personal connection.
Figurative art across a range of media with a focus on painting. Zosia's work embodies a sense of optimism through an examination of everyday environments. She has exhibited at the Mall Galleries and was a heat artist on Sky Landscape Artist of the Year 2019.
