Wendy is the winner of last year’s Windsor and Eton En Plein Air Competition. She has also competed as a wildcard in Sky Arts Landscape artist of the year 2017/2018. Wendy’s work is inspired by nature, the elements and a sense of history. By studying the changing landscape she is able to explore how we relate and are connected to it.
Vivien creates colourful, multi-layered textural paintings inspired by the terrain of the British coastline and ancient ways and pathways which criss-cross our land. Her work has a design quality especially suited to modern light and airy spaces, the sleek hardwood frames adding to the contemporary feeling of her work.
Having lived on the edge of Exmoor for much of her life Tess has an innate connection with wild open spaces. Her oil paintings strive to capture the drama and expanse of these untouched places. Using gestural mark making, splattering, scratching and palette knife work her evocative paintings evolve with sensitivity to light, colour and texture.
