The Rebirth of The Figurative Form

The renaissance of figurative art has a new protagonist in Brighton born, London based artist Steve Yeates. He explodes the concept of the traditional aesthetic by his innovative use of today’s waste paper into socially aware yet sensitive explorations of the human soul.


I have always drawn (I worked in engineering design) but after a serious illness in 2012 I decided to put some effort into creative drawing. I draw Edward Hopper influenced realist pictures. I have won some prizes here and there and had a picture in the 2015 RA Summer Exhibition.

Tom is a professional fine art wildlife photographer based in the UK. He has been awarded in various international competitions including European Wildlife Photographer of the Year and the Sony World Photography Awards.


Alan was born in London but brought up and educated in Guildford. He attended Guildford School of Art in the 1960’s where he studied Fine Art and ceramics and won the Thames and Hudson prize for painting. He works alone producing sculptures in high fired stoneware.


Isobel’s etchings and embossings, which are abstract in nature and inspired by the circle, are often described by others as delicate and contemplative. Each piece is original and unique.
