There is something magical about bluebells, and we have some amazing woods, full of them in spring, local to where I live.

I wanted to get away from the overall, quaint representation of them in this piece and went more graphic, focusing on the wonderful colours.

Fiona Pearce

Born in Guildford, I studied Art at what was then known as the West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham. I work mainly in acrylic, applying thick layers with credit cards, fingers and occasionally a brush from my studio in Hampshire.

My work is inspired by the beautiful local countryside where I walk daily with my dog, but my love of colours and use of space on the canvas is what excites me the most about painting. My goal is to make my paintings come alive, using colours that bring my energy on to the canvas. I see the world in a geometric format, breaking down images into shapes before translating that on to canvas.

I exhibit regularly at The New Ashgate in Farnham Surrey, as well as being represented by the galleries The Art Agency and No Naked Walls.

Shipping policy

Shipping Domestic For the immediate future I will be waiving delivery costs to the mainland UK. I will either deliver the pieces myself or have them carefully packed and sent out to you as soon as possible. Shipping International If you live outside the UK, please contact me with your enquiry and I will research delivery costs to your region. In this situation I would be happy to reserve a painting until a courier price has been established.
